Seasonal feasts for unforgettable moments.

WEDDINGS & CAtering

Your wedding, celebration or event deserves food that feels abundant, joyful, and truly you.

At The Shared Plate, we create relaxed feasts that bring people together — rustic sharing tables, vibrant canapés, and seasonal menus that celebrate the best of South Wales produce.

Our Promise

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all catering. Every event is personal, so we work closely with you to shape food that fits the moment — whether it’s a wedding feast, a workplace gathering, or a private celebration.

From long sharing tables and handcrafted canapés to fire-cooked banquets and simple seasonal suppers, we make food that brings people together.

  • Seasonal & sustainable ingredients

  • Handcrafted dishes, made from scratch

  • Abundant sharing plates & grazing style

  • Menus that adapt to your tastes & traditions

Our Approach
A top-down view of three dishes: a tomato and cheese salad with basil on a blue plate, a roasted vegetable dish with peppers and herbs on a white plate, and a roasted cauliflower salad with chickpeas, pomegranate seeds, and greens on a beige plate.

"We couldn’t believe the care and detail — even the butter was hand-churned. Our guests are still talking about the food months later!"

"The Shared Plate created the most beautiful, abundant feast for our day. Guests still say it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding."

A couple sitting on a wooden bench outdoors, smiling and looking at each other. The woman has long wavy hair and is wearing a white dress, while the man has shoulder-length hair and is wearing a dark suit. A small bouquet of flowers is placed on the bench in front of them, and trees and a partly cloudy sky are in the background.

We want our catering to be accessible to as many groups as possible. If you’re a community organisation, charity, or working with a low-income group, please get in touch — we’ll do our best to create a menu and budget that works for you.
